April Fools!
According to this article on British Columbia Indymedia, "Hunter S Thompson was assassinated before he could expose the Twin Towers Scam". Specifically:
Not quite, it was posted on 2 April, so whilst it is April, and they are fools, they are quite serious.
Various other whacked out sites are carrying longer versions of the same text but note the story keeps changing. The one I have linked to carries links to the AP articles, all of which have (eerily) disappeared and return a 404 error. Damned CIA!
