Accountability
Sydney Indymedia is being asked again to look inward at a total lack of accountability and the need for tight control of the newswire.
Some of the comments indicate hypocrisy and denial on the part of the site's management (AKA moderators, collective etc.) pertaining to what gets hidden, what doesn't and an apparent set of double-standards being applied. Read it all.
This sort of thing has happened on numerous IMC sites in the past and invariably, the complaint gets raised and nothing changes. Talk about "progressive"!
